The last month has been an interesting one.  I have faced demons from the past, found courage and come out the other side to tell the tale.  I have been thinking about telling my story for a long time, but having just bared all (emotionally speaking) at the Irish Business Women Conference last week, it seems that the Universe, and some very persuasive IBW members whom I admire and respect, all seem to have the same plan for me.  That I will use my experiences of business failure and all that entails on a personal and family level, to help others.  And that is what brings me to the need to create this site.

It is a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon, and yet here I am pounding the keyboard.  What has moved me to this point?  A force bigger than me, I know that, but I cannot put my finger on it, or give it a name.  Does it need to be explained?  Maybe not.  So I shall stop the struggling and just surrender to whatever is leading me in this unplanned direction.

Technology is certainly not my strong point, but having been so easily persuaded that anyone can blog, here I am.  Annette Clancy, our very professional and capable chairperson for the conference, gave me a lot of food for thought on Saturday morning.

I am well aware that I can talk for Ireland, and Australia, all at the same time, without taking breath.  I have been working very closely with my friend Tracy Culleton over the last few weeks, using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help me release all my fears about speaking in public and showing the real me behind my rather ‘holding it all together nicely thanks’ facade.

I realise now I have many facets to me, and to my work.    First and foremost I am a human being, a woman, a mother, a wife.  I am a friend, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a business woman and don’t even start me on all the other roles I fill every day.  But I am no different to any other woman.  We are all juggling our many roles and trying to keep the sunny side up without dropping all the balls we try to juggle, or are expected to juggle.

This site is about me giving back.  Sharing all the tricks of the trade, so to speak, that I have learnt over the years, giving others the benefit of my experience, and sharing my mistakes and disappointments.  After all, these are the things that make me the person I am today and these are the things that are taking me on the journey to where I want to be – healthy, wealthy and happy.

It is also about my work, and the various projects I am involved in.  It is about sharing the products, the knowledge, and the skills that I have been lucky enough to gather in the last few years.  It is about feeling fulfilled, and following your passion.

I hope you enjoy my chattering, and please do comment if you wish.

Thanks for visiting.  Noelene
